Hitch Stabilizer

There have been several posts related to mechanisms for stabilizing trailer/tow hitches in the receiver.
They all use bolts and metal things, etc. (search for "Hitch")

I looked around the garage and decided I had the materials for a low cost option.
I had some relatively thin plastic wedges used as dividers in one of my tool boxes.
(I have also since considered the plastic spreaders used to get the bubbles out of decals and/or the same shapes used to fair epoxy - among other things).

Insert in the spaces and use a couple of taps from the "percussive adjustment" tool. Done!
(I would have said "... and Bob's your uncle" but I never quite figured that saying out).

Admittedly, I have only used these on the Jeep. They work great there.
There might be a different issue with the coach. I'll try them out this summer.
I suspect if there is I will quickly lose the wedge and know for sure.

Elliot, Looks good , but what will keep the wedges in place ? Did you glue them in or pin them in some way ?

Kinda like a nail, the force applied to get them in wedges them tight.
I have to really work the hitch to get it out.
