Need help identifing leaking valve

Please help me identify this leaking valve.  It is located above the left front air tank.  It is leaking out the port in the front.  Once the pressure drop to about 80 psi the leak drops substantially.  Also, are these valves items that can be purchased locally.

Thanks.

Looks like a standard air pressure brake valve.  Any heavy truck parts shop should carry them.  They get dirt inside of them and stick.

Agree, meritor part and available at truck service shops. There will be a tiny sticker on it and Pt #. Copy it and take it to shop. Dump all air and replace, or, take it off and remove the back side diaphragm cover and clean it out by the looks of it. All these valves are very simple to fix and you will see if there is a crack in rubber.

Pat and John thanks for the help identifing the valve.  There are alot of air valves on these coaches, is there a means of learning their identity and location?

Bendix has a ton of online educational material, including systems operation, diagrams, part numbers & just good advice. The site can be a little difficult to navigate but they were doing a revamp so some of those issues may be gone now. I haven't been over there for a while.

A starting point resource is the Air Schematic for your coach.  Ours is drawing B-2254 in the schematics.  It doesn't have part numbers, but at least tells you how the components are connected and where things like check valves are.
