Microphor LF 210/water leak


 Hi. Having some difficulty locating the leak. This is what I have done;  closed the manabloc valve to toilet.

 The leak stopped. It was wicking up the carpet on the base support of the LF210 where carpet meets the tile floor. A very small amount of water would make it's way along the grouting of the tile. With the water shut off, the carpet dried, took a few days, so I imagine there is a build up of water held back by sealant or some such thing.

 The LF 210 seems to work fine substituting water to the bowl from the sink tap. No leaks. Used this way for a week and no leaks.

 Turned the manabloc valve on for the LF210 and within a few hours the carpet around the support was wet again.

 Looked into the back of lf210 many times and can see no leaks and nothing wet on the top of the base (made of wood) and looking as carefully as one can, see no water on any tubing. I can only see a very small portion of the lower floor area where a hole is for the water intake line, and it looks dry there. Mind you the water leak gravitates away from the side wall, eg toward the closet area across from the toilet.

 So this begs the question: is there an easy way to investigate further or has the toilet to be removed. If so has any one done this before?  I'm thinking the water inlet line must be disconnected, the discharge clamp to the drain plumbing, and the four bolts holding the LF 210 to the support base? What about the air lines? How is the air line shut off?

If you don't have it here is a link to the installation manual.  It could be that it's leaking at the connection to the black tank at the bottom.  It will leak only when flushed. Hard to find.  It's not to hard to remove if it's like mine.

 Thanks on that. Yes I have the manual. When I find the leak I will report back. I guess i will be going head to head with this. ;D
