Towing 2010 Honda CRV 2wd on a dolly

I need to tow our Honda 2010 CRV 2wd on a dolly. Can't find anything about that in owner's manual. Can this be done without damage to the car? What is the experience here? Thanks.

I'm assuming you are asking about a front wheel dolly.... correct?  We are in our fifth year of towed our AWD 2009 CRV "four down" so I don"t see any reason you could not tow it on a dolly.  There should be a towing section in your CRV owners manual.  But why do you want to use a dolly?

I just checked the REMCO site and it says that your CR-V is towable four-down as is with speed and distance limitations. A call to the dealer might be helpful.

From pages 334 and 335 of your owners Manuel:

Towing a Trailer, Towing Your Vehicle Behind a Motorhome
Backing Up
Always drive slowly and have someone guide you when backing up. Grip the bottom of the steering wheel, then turn the wheel to the left to get the trailer to move to the left, and turn the wheel right to move the trailer to the right.
Parking
Follow all normal precautions when parking, including firmly setting the parking brake and putting the transmission in Park. Also, place wheel chocks at each of the trailer's tires.
Towing Your Vehicle Behind a Motorhome
Your vehicle can be towed behind a motorhome at legal highway speeds up to 65 mph (100 km/h). Do not exceed 65 mph (100 km/h). Otherwise, severe transmission damage will occur. To avoid damage to the 4WD system, your vehicle must be towed with all four wheels on the ground (flat towing).

When towing your vehicle for long periods, remove the 7.5 A Accessory Radio fuse to reduce drain on battery. This fuse is located in the interior fuse box and is shown as number 34 below.

Speed limit usually 65 mph on honda, distance limit usually 8 hours, then you go through a 3 minute procedure, good for another 8

Regularly tow my Honda Element 75-80

Course if you already own dolly (or intend to re t for some reason) and don't want to set up CRV with hitch, dolly may make sense for you

I recommend checking very carefully. I don't know about the CRV, but some four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicles can be towed 4-down but now 2-down. The drivetrain can be damaged when owed with only two wheels down.
