We are headed to Indiana to have our fridge cooling unit replaced by JC refrigeration.

We had ours replaced there about a year ago and have been well pleased.

Once minor complaint: There is some air leakage noticeable around the front seal of the unit while driving, and so I will need to re-seal it. It might be a good idea to double-check on that item.

Finally, be sure to spend time looking around Shipshewana, particularly Yoder's hardware. Also, don't miss Rise n Roll bakery a little west on US 30, and for a great meal go farther west on US 30 for a meal as Das Dutchman Essenhaus.

Then I highly recommend staying more than one night at Winton Woods and taking the toad to the foodie wonderland that is Jungle Jim's (or stop on the way back when you have a working fridge!).  Jungle Jim's International Market

Hey Michelle,
Now there is a brand new Jungle Jim's that opened last year only two miles from our house. Oh joy!

And then there is the flea market and auction (flee market in my case).  Wednesday every week is the big day.  They have everything you don't need...and more.  Good eats all over the town and flea market.

D.J our trip was a success, great time and the  Shipshewana area  is gorgeous. The fridge is cooling down to 32 degrees and freezer at 1..Thank you for the recommendation...JR is a true professional and did a great job.

Peter..unfortunately we could not contact you as we arrived in Winton Woods rather late and got an early start the next day. We are definitely coming back to your area for more adventure.

Hans,
Not a problem. There's always the next time. We're camping just south of Columbus at Deer Creek SP until Friday. Glad you had a positive experience in IN. We're up that way to spend time with relatives quite often. And we always make it a point to go to the Shipshewana auction on Wednesdays.
