Root canal is better (than caulking roof seams)

Than re caulking roof seams.. I suppose standing on 65 year old knees for 2 hrs is what makes it so dreadful.. That and I am a pee poor caulker.. I do better since taking George's advice and tapeing borders.. When standing on my knees I shake like a dog passing a peach seed.

Dub, don't know what product you are using, bit if you don't plan on having to remove it 3M 5200 goes on nice and finishes good. But is hard to get off should you need to.

You are correct about the 3M 5200--- great stuff, and they now make a fast cure that cures in 24 hours.  The old stuff took 7 days!  Now for the good news-- 3M now has a release agent that will soften the bond for removal if it ever becomes necessary.  5200 is more than caulk, it is an extreme bonding agent with incredible strength, commonly used to bond hull to deck seams on yachts.  It is very waterproof.
