Foretravel Repair Facility - Wichita KS

Recently, someone posted pictures of the sign from the Mothership that listed the authorized repair facilities. One of those listed Innovative Coachworks, in Wichita, KS. It was also annotated as giving the Motorcade discount! Needless to say, Wichita is a whole lot closer to me than Nacogdoches.

Has any forum member (or guest/visitor) had any experience with Innovative Coachworks? I need some work done and, if acceptable, will gladly volunteer to drive to Wichita rather than Texas. Unless I hear otherwise, though, I plan to save my fiberglass work for Nacognoches.

Any experiences, good or bad, will help in my decision process.

Thanks for any feedback or advice y'all can provide,

About three years ago one furnace in our coach failed while we traveled through Kansas. I left a message at Innovative Coach Works. Ron Hawkins, the owner (I think), of Innovative Coach Works returned my called during the next business day. He was cordial and eager to help. We had already passed Wichita (Goddard) and chose not to use their services.

I can't vouch for their expertise. Based on my brief conversation, I would expect what I call "personal service" for your Foretravel. Call Innovative Coach Works and see if you get an encouraging response.

about 6 years ago me and another foretravel owner had our satellite dishes installed
at innovative coachworks.  we had to wait a few days to get the work done because the
owner was going on a Harley ride. but the install was good and the dish is still working.
we had hookups the whole time.  the place is on a very large acreage.  the parents were
running what I believe was some kind of insurance company. the son has innovative
coachworks on the property and the daughter runs a full blown zoo with tigers, lions and
every other animal you would expect to find at a zoo.  it was a great experience.
we were warned by ron (the owner) that if we wandered to far from the coaches that we
might find ourselves in a place where we were not at the top of the food chain.
I don't know what type of work you are having done and I also don't know what they are
capable of.  there were two other foretravels there at the same time.

You can search the forum as well.  Try Innovative Coach Works as a search term.

Owner Ron Hawkins is/was a FT owner and is a member here.  rhawk6 is his handle.

I think Gary Omel and Gary Bouland know him.

Thanks, Michelle. I had found him as a member, but his last post was in 2010.

I have met Ron and used him to install a Front AC in 114 degree heat and also a water pump that physically I could not do.  Nice setup and the adjoining Safari Land is a great experience, especially the babies in incubators, only draw back is noise in the morning from the Howler Monkey's :)
Call ahead for directions and FOLLOW them.'
