other end of wires for galley roof fan

I was pleased to be able to diagnose and fix a minor propane issue (sticky shutoff solenoid), but the roof vent fan problem has me stumped at the moment. There are no electrons at the leads coming out of the roof. However, there are electrons at the fuse, since according to the label that fuse supplies the kitchen fan and the water heater. So there must be a break in the fan leads somewhere but I can't trace them more than a few inches up from the fan or down from the fuse under the bed. I'll hide a fresh set of conductors if I have to but reeeeeeally don't want to play that game. Any ideas?

I don't know how the wires are run for your vintage coach, but for my 2002 the bedroom ceiling fans wires go through the ceiling forward to the driver's side wall at a stack of drawers, down to the floor, then rearward through a tunnel in the floor which ends up under the foot of the north/south bed.

"Galley roof fan"?  Do you mean the Kool-matic fan that has a plastic cover you take down?
If so, then the power will need to through the thermostat control first.  Is there power at the thermostat?  Could be the "low-off-hi" switch too.

Heh.. one of the first things I did to this coach was replace the oem fan with the Fantastic fan the previous owners had bought but not installed. I just turned the wall thermostat on and all the way up and forgot about it. Thanks to y'all, I went and took a closer look at it. Yep, it had gone south. So I bypassed it and bolted it back to the wall, problem solved. Thanks again!
