The air cam system.

When I look at the screen , I see the roof as if it were I were 100 feet above the coach looking down. I can see clearly all around the coach . If you were walking around , I could count your steps . Now the question ---how can I see the roof like that ? Is there a camera up there some where ? I have never been on the roof to have a look see . The presentation  on the screen has me baffled . Being a low tech guy makes me scratch my head on this one .                            Brad Metzger

Whatever you have, i am envious. I want one.

I know some of the car manufacturers have systems that electronically splice images from four cameras (front, rear, side mirrors) into one image, giving a God's eye view.

Brad, Does the view look something like this:

Omni-Vue? 360 degree 'look down' Camera System - YouTube

I saw something like that advertised in the past, but I've not found details or a source for the system.

These look pretty cool.  I've been reading about windowless aircraft where the ceiling and sidewalls are just high definition displays. I imaging it would make some uncomfortable.

I would be concerned about looking at a screen instead of the road.  What we need is a full windshield heads up display.

The view on the screen is --- the roof of the coach , and everything all around it . As if the camera was 100 feet above looking down . The neat thing is when in tight city traffic and a need for a right angle turn , I can tell when the drive axles are past the turn point for a clean tight turn . The other thing is , at night , I hear something outside and close , I can have a look see .  The view covers about 15 feet width all around the coach .This way I know weather to load my gun or turn out the  dogs . ::)      Brad Metzger

Unless there is a fifth camera on top an ac unit or a stick, the roof image you see might be a static image.  Have someone walk around on the roof while you look on the screen and tell us what you see.

Do you have any documentation in the package that came with the coach?  Foretravel is usually good about giving the new owner all that stuff.  I'd love to know who made it so I can look it up.  It sounds way better than sliced bread.

By the way, I've always thought of adding a forward facing camera on top an ac unit so I can see any vertical clearance issues before hearing and feeling them.

Brad, I heard that due to your political proclivities that the NSA is sending a pirated satellite feed from several Chinese satellites to help insure your security. I'm glad I only have a one dimension black and white image on my screen. That means their not watching me.

I think Kent has it figured out, it intercepts streaming video feeds from Chinese spy satellites.

We knew that weeks ago, but to avoid panic, we waited until now to tell you: each of you have two/three: one one antenna and one aft near FanTastic. NSA said not to worry. Enjoy. Mine just clicks. Very softly. LOL
