swing arm lamp replacement bulbs

Help, I'm not ready to go to LED's yet, need a source for and proper numbers for replacement bulbs.  My old bulb says 12V 320P at the base, single filament & dual connector (or whatever it's called!) at the bottom.  Have done searches here & on Beamalarm, also been to a couple of stores, & can't seem to find a part number or source that explains the numbers.  I need to have a number that is readily available in stores, too many choices!

Miz Dani,

Here are the LED equivalent bulbs in warm white.  They work very well. Much cooler, much less power.

You want a BA15D base, dual contact base  with bulb number 1076 or 1142

Pack of TWO (2), LED 3W 12V White Omni Bulb BA15D 1142 1076 Brake Tail 18 5050 -

Lots of other choices but these just over $5 each.  Other choices on Amazon.  If you buy the sme bulb at CW they will be close to $20.

I have several old bulbs taken out when I replaced them with LEDs.  PM me with an address and I can send you some.

Roger, thanks so much, I guess I thought going to LED's was a big deal, (involving wiring or ???) but if it's only a matter of replacing bulbs, that I can handle!  I would very much like to have your old bulbs as well if that's not a big deal, PM coming your way & happy to pay postage!  Thanks also for the link, & especially the numbers!

* I just ordered 4 of these, hope they get here by next Saturday when I fly back to pick up the coach!  :)

Agree that change to led is painless.  The color, and illumination, replacement effort is basically the same.  The power useage  is less and the bulbs last longer helping to justify the slightly additional expense (if you buy off ebay or amazon). Best of travels.

Replaced mine in February.  Work much better.  Must be good stuff as someone stole one out of a double fixture in a shop.

OK a blonde question: aren't LED's the ones that get brighter the longer they're on?  This drives me nuts in a hotel or some other public place...when I want light, I want it NOW.  It's frustrating to have to wait to see "if" and "when" and "how long is this gonna take?" or "how bright they will get?"....right about the time I was planning to turn them off again!    (Come on you guys, you've always said there are no dumb questions here!) :D

No, I think you are thinking of the compact fluorescent bulbs.
 
LED's should come on when you apply power.

Turn LED's on and they are as bright as they are going to get, unless they are on a dimmer, then ya just turn them up. There are no dumb questions.
