Tire Pressure Monitoring with OEM sensors.

Going through some old wish lists and came across the Pressure Pro TPMS.  Last year we bought a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited which has a TPMS built in.  Is there any way to make use of the OEM system with Pressure Pro or some other system?  If not, will the two systems interfere with each other?

I am not aware of any OE car TPMS that can be "read" by any aftermarket RV TPMS.  Basically, the OE system is internal to the tire.  The aftermarket system is external (on metal valve stem) to the toad tire/wheel.

I have seen one system that uses internal sensors that will interface with a Silverleaf system.  I think it was made in Canada

Bendix also had (past tense) an pressure monitor internal to the tire. It is no longer marketed to the RV industry.

But as I said, I am not aware of any RV TPMS that can "read" a toad's built in sensors. I believe that is what John really wants to know.

Our Grand Cherokee Jeeps have had Chrysler tire pressure sensors that display each tire position with 2-digit readouts. I tried to find a way to read them out in the motorhome including duplicating the Jeep dash display. No go, so our Jeep also has Pressure Pro wheel sensors that we remove when getting service.

BTW, we just changed the 1-piece rubber seat to the new 2-piece seat for each of our 10 Pressure Pro wheel sensors. Seat kit comes with new seats, O-rings and an insert tool.

That answers my question, thanks.
