Re: Allison Service Reply #25 – December 18, 2014, 01:11:09 pm Over the years I have seen codes thrown that just vanished a few days later. I would drive the coach and at the next service have ANOTHER shop check it without saying anything to them. If it starts to slip then start saving. A good shop can repair it. We always did. Here is a video on clearing codes. Not sure if it's exactly the same as your trans but it gives you an idea how easy it is.Allison Transmission Codes - Part 3 Clearing Codes - YouTubeKeith Quote Selected

I replaced the input speed sensor no problem it was located on the bell housing left side easy to do. The problem is where is the output sensor located? I looked all around the transmission and could not find it. It can't be rocket science as it should have a small two wire cable running to it. Any help would be appreciated. Terry Quote Selected

The owner's manual for 3000 and 4000 is in the files section and should show a picture of the sensor locations but I'm not sure if a 3060 would be different....Pamela and Mike would know. Removed and reinstalled the sensor. Now to get the transynd installed. I am hoping that I can get it done at the FMCA rally in Sarasota. Terry Quote Selected
