A Very Fine Step Ladder

Check out my new step stool ladder. It's just right for getting above the Grand Villa's windshields. Six steps with the tallest 55" high with a tool holder at the top. It's well made and very light. Should be perfect for a rig ladder. The make is Hailo (German).  Hailo LLC Championsline 6 Step Ladder - Stepladders - Amazon.com

Available on Amazon, elsewhere. Great ladder. are the steps fixed or do they pivot when it's folded?

That does look like a nice step ladder but I can't justify carrying two ladders and I'm not parting with my Little Giant once I realized that the FT ladder is only rated for 150 lbs.  :o

They are fixed with the exception of the top step which locks the ladder.

I have the Xtend'n'climb ladder. I have one that is high enough to give me a good hold when getting off or on at the roof level.  Fir me that bit is critical!

About $250 at Amazon but it's small enough when let down to fit in my basement bin (even the abbreviated bins in a U225 ).

I have the Xtend-n-Climb like Craigs. I love its compactness when it is collapsed. Also very stable.

Be VERY CAREFUL using the telescopic type
Another Telesteps collapse injury.

For many years I have had a terribly heavy STEEL version of the ladder below -- not nearly as good as a LITTLE GIANT (or the copies thereof), but a fraction of the price.

There are many excellent ladders available but I was looking for more of a step stool type with wide steps. The 3 step type are common but those with 4 and more are less so. I'll stick with the factory ladder for accessing the roof (although with a bit of trepidation).

Because our Joey Bed has an open front, we can slide in a regular Lowe's / Home Depot 8 foot ladder with a pail shelf.  Ladder takes up very little room as is sits on its side.  There is about an inch room between ends of ladder and inside of compartment doors.

Can't help but mention that all of these telescoping, extending, locking flexible ladders need attention to the the latching mechanism.
I prefer the the single action simple step ladder.  KISS
