What would this be for? PVC pipe under fridge.

 :)
Merry Christmas everyone

Just discovered a PVC fitting in the cabinet under my fridge. It's against the outside wall. Looks like a Tee or Wye fitting with a 1 1/2 inch plug. Just curious as to what it might be used for. I thought maybe it was for central vacuum or ice maker??? A quick look in the outside compartments under the fridge and I can't find anything.

Thanks
Ed

I did think about a photo Peter, (chuckling to myself) figured I didn't need one. We are packing the MH to visit the grandkids, she will kill me if I started crawling around taking pics and posting.

Thanks for the reply

Lance,

It is the drain line from the kitchen sinks.  The fitting with the threaded plug is a cleanout. The black ABS line continues behind the first closet and into the gray water tank under the closet floor.

Merry Christmas Eve

Yes Keith we have a W/D but in another closet near by. I can see the vent pipe behind it. I'm sure it eventually empties into this thingy behind the wall.

A clean out. Ok, thanks. I wonder if I should run a snake thru it. Preventive Maintenance???  Any thoughts?

Back to the grandkids. ;D
Thanks

I doubt it is a vacuum breaker as that location would be too low as it is close to sink and they have to be above a normal high water line and the washing mc and sink would be tied into same drain line one would think. It definitly sounds like a drain clean plug.

Took a minute for a quick photo this morning.

This is located in a cabinet under the refrigerator. After poking around I'm pretty sure the pipe is the drain for the kitchen sink. Roger knew what it was

I just never saw a clean out in a RV, but hey there's always a first time.  Looks like it was used. See the photo, notice the brown on the carpet.

Ed,
The gas refrig sits on a shelf over some strage space below the refrig. You picture shows the black back panel of that space.  Behind the black panel is a space for the refrig gas line, a bunch of wires and drain lines. We replaced our Dometic with a res refrig and had to remove that lower cabinet section for the new refrig.

In the attached picture you can see the lower part of the cabinet disassembled and the black 1 1/2" drain line with the cleanout.  The blue PEX line is for the refrigerator drain. You can see the copper LP gas line.  There are two 110 v outlets on the right.  One is landline only for the refrigerator and the other is land line or inverter for the ice maker.  There is also lots of 12v and 110 v romex cable.  Some careful adjustments of the plumbing and wiring can get you an extra inch or so in depth clearance and a bit more than that in vertical clearance both of which are good when putting in a new res refrig.
