Washer/Dryer

I haven't used my washer/dryer combo much. Does it have a lint filter other than the one in the bottom right hand corner.

If it has been sitting for a while, you might want to do the Splendide lint clean out procedure before doing laundry.  First, clean our the lint filter on the bottom right- put back in.

Then set to run a regular  wash load ( no clothes in it, no detergent) , no drier.  Be sure your grey tank is empty or you are hooked to sewer.  After it runs full cycle, do it again.  Watch close to be sure you don't have any leaks.

This will clean out any stuff in between the inside drum and the outer drum.  I did this when I thought ours was going out, it works great now.  Suppose to do this annually according to the Splendide guide.

Hope this helps......................... ^.^d

Thank you both, I have the manual on the unit and that is the only filter. I will do as you suggest.

Here's the procedure for the newer 2100XC as outlined by Splendide - it does involve a lot of water (and it's amazing how much floats around the first time you do it: Splendide 2100XC "maintenance flush" procedure
