source for 12V air actuator for step

Our step will not retract with the door closed and sufficient air supply.  After investigating the problem w/ Gary Omel, it seems the regulator is working properly however the wires attached to the actuator had broken off due to corrosion.  The regulators are easy enough to find but we were wondering if any forum member knew a source for the actuator?  Norgren is OEM but their website doesn't list what is on our vintage '98.  Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to check with Xtreme.  I got all of my old parts when they replaced my steps but I bet they have lots of old parts laying around from every steps conversion they do.  Roger

Bill,

There is another member (just talked to him on the phone) that has replaced his on a '97 U-320. After talking to one of the Norgren reps. they crossed the obsolete number ( MK-01CEA35AGNA) to  V-61R517AA312-JB.  He has been using this one for about a year with great results.  Now it was not a direct replacement as new mounting holes had to drilled, hoses rerouted, wires spliced but it worked.

Thanks Roger & Mike
I'll call Xtreme first as we've had work done by them last year.  If that doesn't work, Norgren will get a call.
