Harley is not so gassed with the new floor.  Now he usually lays on the throw rug or the couch.  Poor lil pup.  ;D

I have used the Shaw vinyl planks in my rentals.  Very easy  install and resists moisture unlike laminate flooring.  The Shaw has been down a year now in the kitchen and bath and shows zero ware.  Nice choice in my book.  David

Thanks Ernie - We did exchange emails about this install as I heard that you do excellent work.  However, I could not open your web page to see some of your stuff and you were busy during the time slot that we had available.  ;D

I got to see the new floor a couple of weeks ago. All I can say is it looks even better in person! Nice job. Pretty sure it will outlast the coach. :)

After seeing your photos i decided to go with the Shaw flooring in my coach, i went to Lowe's and purchase 6 boxes. I started the install and before i had used all of the first box i just didn't feel i would like it . so i went with a German made lament . And so fare I'm very happy with it . Now i need a sofa . The one i want is in Charlotte NC , it was on eBay I'll try and post it to the fbook groups page ... i have taken out the dinning table and chairs . i would like to hing a table on the wall and prop up when needed, using folding chairs

"resists moisture unlike laminate flooring"
Many people do not realize how vulnerable many (if not all) laminates are to water.  I paid many homeowners insurance claims for water damage to laminate floors.  It is a POOR choice in kitchens, where standing water is possible from plumbing problems and spills. also a poor choice for entry/foyer.
Typically, the pattern and/or color is no longer available at the time of loss.  So, a small area of buckled floor covering can require replacing a large expanse in order to restore a flat, uniform appearance.  By contrast, full thickness hardwood will cup or buckle, BUT recovers.  Often times, only light sanding and refinishing (or NOTHING) needs to be done, once moisture in the wood is back to normal.  Of course, carpet is the WORST choice for a kitchen floor.
