Dave,

These are what were on our 240 and what is presently on our 320. They may have been special order by previous owner and installed at time of build. They are rebuildable as we have talked to these folks before about replacement bearings.

Those are very similar but the ones I saw had a bigger wheel, more like a grocery store stockers cart with the tall wire sides probably 7 inch in height. But my theory has been at least 3/4 proved.

MR Wolfe,
Could you please post a photo / picture of where exactly the measuring points are on the 1995 U 240, I saw one to day and I'm not sure I measured it correctly, it was 16 inches on one side and 17 on the other. I also did not see any shims awaiting removal?
Thank you.

Thanks my friend, I missed that piece ! I seem to have measured it correctly so something was drastically wrong with it.

Is this problem only occurring in the U 240 or all models?
Because the U240 Storage doors open upward, and I understand all others open downwards.

Sent you a PM.

No, the bulkhead issue is with all Unihomes and Unicoaches.  It does not apply to the Oshkosh chassis. Also nothing to do with basement door orientation.
