Driver seat belt anchor point

My driver seat belt is very uncomfortable to wear as the anchor point causes my left shoulder to be pulled down at an unnatural angle. After a few hours driving my shoulder aches. I am thinking about mounting a pivot point above the seat in the wood behind the seat to relieve some of the pressure from my shoulder.

Has anyone here changed their seat belt anchor point? Opinions anyone? Better ideas?

I pull the shoulder strap out and pull it over the left arm rest and drive that way.  The arm rest is in the down/horizontal position.  ;D
