New Member Update and Route Question

Susan & I joined the Forum in Jan 2015, when we were still in our 16' aluminum Livin' Lite trailer, but seeking a Foretravel.

Through the Forum and Motorcade Club, we found our coach!  Thanks to everyone who was so kind and helpful, particularly Gary Omel, who knew of the availability of the U320 we purchased, and Mark & Donna Crick, the prior owners. Big thanks, too, to everyone at the Bainbridge Rally—so MANY wonderful owners you are too numerous to mention here—for showing us your coaches, educating us about model years, modifications, and features, and even feeding us (wonderfully!).

Now a question: we are taking our U320 to Middletown, RI, for a niece's wedding in June and need routing help, please.

We'll be starting in Greenville, SC; stopping in Lancaster, PA (family). We've made that drive often and are confident in our route. But from Lancaster, PA to West Hartford, CT (to see more family) we'd welcome suggestions. Then, we are particularly interested in suggestions from West Hartford, CT to Middletown, RI (the site of the wedding). 

We'd like to avoid I-95 to the extent possible. We used to live in the Northeast and Susan is from Connecticut originally. We also know we'll have to avoid routes we drove in automobiles (like the Merritt Parkway), that are restricted by bridge clearance and weight/number of wheels. So, we'll be grateful for any suggestions from those of you with more recently local knowledge than ours about taking a 40' coach from Lancaster, PA to Middletown, RI via West Hartford, CT.

Congratulations Richard & Susan!! 
We had the pleasure to meet both of you at Bainbridge.  In fact, I believe Gary mentioned the availability of the Cricks 40' unit when we showed you our 36'er.  I believe we discussed the differences in models at the picnic table!

Thanks for your really nice post/welcome.  Yes, we remember that exact moment!  All of you at Bainbridge were so gracious.  We joined the South Central and Florida Chapters as a result, even though we're located in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

Congratulations guys!

We enjoyed meeting you at Bainbridge. What year is your new to you rig! Happy trails to the NE. A good first "shakedown cruise". Hope we cross paths when you return to the Greenville area!

Hello Alan & Gerri,

Thanks so much for your post and greetings!  We purchased a 1999—but one of the 13 (we've heard?) 99s that has a slideout.  The only floorplan that matches ours on the BeamAlarm.com site is a 2000 4010 WTFE.  So, who knows? Late 1999? Secret 2000?  ;-)

Susan & I very much enjoyed meeting you in Bainbridge and look forward to connecting again soon!

Can you imagine my surprise today when I met Dani Chapman in the RV Park where we docked after bringing our Foretravel back to the Carolinas?  She reminded me that she was at the Bainbridge Rally, too — but at just the moment she was about to say "hello," Susan and I headed off with someone else to look at their coach.

Great to meet (again) and say "hello"!

Most enjoyable visit last evening at my place with Richard & Susan, their's is the beautiful '99 U320 I saw when I first checked in here Sunday night....lots to chat about, not the least of which are very good common friends Gary & Sandy O....so far they're getting a very warm welcome to the FT family....lovely folks & they'll be a great addition to the forum & the family.
