Service Experiences at MOT so Far

I will say that MOT has some new guys and they all know their stuff. I have been very happy with this service trip.  David went and found a new service manager and looked for people who are skilled in repair and diagnostics and they can train them on the RV systems.  They have one guy David who is a diagnostic guy. He has the computer and and reader and can tell right away what is wrong when he reads the codes. He is also very good at fixing house stuff. James fixed the slide that failed and I had two other guys do work on the coach and each of them knew exactly what was what. The thing that impressed me is that the originally put a guy who was not as fully  versed on the slide and Keith came in and swapped him for James who has worked on them for years over at FT.  The other guy assisted him for a bit to learn and then went and handled another job.  I think I have had 5 guys on my coach for two days so far and I have been very impressed with what they have gotten done. I guess when I get the bill, I will see how much this will cost but it is only money and I will say, so far it will be well spent.  I had them pull the wheels and do the brake calipers as they were done 3 or 4 years ago and so far we have replaced one up front and the tag has one frozen in.    It is worth getting getting done if you have not done it before. It is something to hire done as it is heavy hot work in the summer.

I had a great experience at MOT with a swarm of techs working on the coach for two days, working late and starting early to get me on the road home.  The thing that struck me was how incredibly nice every single person at MOT was. They were patient and took the time to show me everything they were doing and why.  It was the opposite of every experience I've had in a shop.

I am so glad (and grateful) that I bought a FT from MOT.

Well we will be looking at going to MOT this fall for some first time service work. I would like them to look at the brakes and the air bags, Not quite sure how to go about setting it up. Eileen would also like them to install a new microwave and a few minor things. So do I just call them and set up a time?

Call them on their toll free number and ask for service.

They will need to know what you want to have done as a guide line. If you want to have a new microwave, that is not an issue but they have guys who just remodel now and others that work on the chassis and others who are good in the house but most of them can do anything.  It is a great experience and if you have not had your brakes done, you should.  The airbags probably depending on where and how it was stored. Mine was inside all the time but it was probably a year or two early but I rather just get them and the shocks done at the same time.  The brake work cleaning the Pins is hard heavy work and will take a full day.
