Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #2 – July 25, 2015, 11:35:19 pm I doubt it as the muffler has no emissions reduction value other than noise. Quote Selected
Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #3 – July 26, 2015, 02:11:01 am Here in TX since installing the resonator, it already made through two inspections .... Wowww time goes fast. It has been already two years since we purchased our FT. Quote Selected
Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #4 – July 26, 2015, 11:40:46 am I made it thru three in VA. It is just the noise level at full throttle that is more. Quote Selected
Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #5 – July 26, 2015, 12:45:33 pm Where are emissions tests required for diesel pushers? What are the cut off years? Our 99' doesn't need them in California, which has some of the most draconian laws for vehicles... I know about the inspections in Texas, but aren't they basically just for safety checks?Don Quote Selected

Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #7 – July 26, 2015, 02:34:32 pm Wow! Crossing Colorado off of my "ultimate home base/domicile" list... Too bad, such a beautiful state and my daughter and one of my granddaughters lives there. Not that I was actively considering a change just now, but on my research list in the not too distant future.DonQuote from: Jimmyjnr – July 26, 2015, 12:58:20 pmColorado, every two years , every vehicle, Quote Selected

I understand Arizona is much stricter and may do dyno on RV pushers. AZ residents update?California emission law as it reads:"Currently, smog inspections are required for all vehicles except diesel powered vehicles 1997 year model and older or with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVWR) of more than 14,000 lbs, electric, natural gas powered vehicles over 14,000 lbs, motorcycles, trailers, or gasoline powered vehicles 1975 and older."Pierce Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: Resonator and emissions Reply #10 – July 26, 2015, 04:41:46 pm We have emissions here in VA but they exempt over 10K vehicles. Oh the funny thing is they went to one on a dyno and the first time the guy put an all wheel drive on and strapped the front tires, there was a big bill to pay. They went back to tail pipe emissions for that type of car for a while. Quote Selected

VA only has emissions testing in the "NOVA" counties. It's annoying because the most populated area of the state is VA Beach/Norfolk...but they don't have emissions testing. Quote Selected
