Re: wet carpet Reply #1 – August 22, 2015, 09:39:44 am Our wet carpet was from the front roof AC. Shop vac'd up as much water as possible, then used a squirrel cage Stanly blower fan to dry the rest. Roof AC holddown bolts needed tightening. Quote Selected

Where should I be looking?Open genset door. On left side (as you look at the genset) look for coach "floor" or call it the genset dog house ceiling. You will need a strong flash light as all is paited black, or feel around for the outlet hose coming from the catch pan inside the coach that collects condensate from evaporator. It's either clogged or warped and does not allow the condensate to drain properly. Likely like that from the factory. Clogging could only be from outside dust collected throught the years from road "stuff". Quote Selected
Re: wet carpet Reply #6 – August 22, 2015, 01:28:15 pm Actually, I would recommend AGAINST blowing air into the dash HVAC condensate hose. That will just blow whatever is clogging in back into the evaporator to clog again in the future.Attach a clear hose to the bottom of the condensate drain hose and suck on it. That should pull the blockage on through rather than allowing it to stay floating around in the evaporator. The clear lose allows you to stop sucking on it before "gunk" gets to you! It appears to come from the dash ac and I think I will have to cut the line to clean it. Also I am parked and not level. Coach is pitched to the rear which maybe why the water would'nt flow out. Will have to pull front panel to get to pan, I think. Quote Selected

Re: wet carpet Reply #10 – August 25, 2015, 01:56:22 pm Well now that I'm back in Florida I had a chance to look and find the condensate drain hose. It turns out the line is not plugged but there is a plastic nipple that come out of the dash unit that is broken and that seems to be the source of the leak. I'm going to try and stick a short nipple in the hole and seal it. Then I will replace the lines with clear plastic tubing and then I can than see the flow by removing the front inside panel by the steps . Any thoughts? Quote Selected
