headboard

We are reupholstering the valances in our coach.  We would also like to recover the headboard in the bedroom but are not sure how to remove it.  In our coach ( '92 U300), the headboard is attached somehow to a mirror on the back wall of the bedroom.  I suspect this is the normal design but have not been in enough older Foretravels to know.
If anyone has dealt with this before, we would appreciate any guidance and suggestions.
Thanks,
Kearn

On our coach we removed a few screws from the bottom edge of the headboard and lifted it up to unhook from the back wall.
