Snap on wheel covers

I know that tire covers have been discussed at length throughout the forum. Pluses and minuses for different styles. My coach already has snaps in place for all the windows and wheel wells. I am planning on new tires next month and want to protect them once installed. Who makes snap on covers? Does anyone make custom sized ones to match the existing snaps? I know there is a protectant spray to keep them looking good, just can't remember the name & where to buy.

Thanks in advance for the advise and help.

Most covers

"slip over" the tires. At some point a PO may have had "snap on" covers made. Any boat canvas shop has the material and skill to make you new covers using your current installed snaps. It may be quite a bit more than the Camco slip over ones, and it may not depending on where you live (coastal FL has MANY of these guys, most work out of their car or van and can be incredibly reasonable. Here in the mid west, not so much....)

Thanks Tim, hadn't thought about a marine shop. Will check out what might be available in the area.

Also those little nut covers can be either push on or screw on.  When replacements are needed I go for the screw on.  Stay on better, just don't screw on too tight as they are just plastic.  If I have the push on I have to ck regular to make sure they are fully on.  Have lost a few in the past.

I've been using a Permatex product called "No Touch Tire Care" for years, love it! Have never used tire covers and my tires have lasted a normal amount of time even here in dry Arizona.  Big boxes have it, as does NAPA.

Larry,
To my knowledge 303 is the only protectant with UV protection.  And it seems to last better than other tire dressings.

It might be a good product for the air bags? What are your opinions on this?

Larry,
Some of us have posted about the Wash and Wax All Rubber Care product.  I have used the 303 and Wash and Wax products for years and have had consistently good (better than 303) results with the W&W products.
Here's the W&W product spiel: Quote

"Now you can use a high performance aircraft cleaner wash & wax on your RV, Motorhome, Car, Boat, or Truck. Wash Wax ALL leaves an anti-static UV protective coating that repels dirt and moisture. Wash Wax ALL meets Boeing Aircraft cleaning specifications D6-17487P, D6-7127M, AirBus 09-00-002, and McDonnell Douglass CDS #1. "

The W&W rubber care product lasts longer and does not turn white/grey/milky when the tires heat up in use, as the 303 product does.
Just my experience - hope this helps.
