Four (4) Corner RV Weighing

Does anyone know of place within the DFW metro area that does four corner (each wheel) RV weighing? I've found a bunch that weigh each axle, but not each corner. Thanks in advance.

These are the folks that did the four corner weighing at the Gravd Vention in Indiana.  They are in Austin, TX for the next few months.  Call them, maybe they can help, you find one closer.

Hello Roger and Susan.  Thank you for your suggestion.  I had found this resource earlier, but we'd prefer not to make that 400 mile round trip unless we had other plans taking us in that direction.  In fact, DW might think I lost my mind if I said let's drive to Austin to get 4-wheel weighing!  I'm still hopeful that some place in the DFW metro offers this service.

At any rate, take care.

Like Roger said, contact them.  They work with an organization and may know someone closer.

A simply way to get a close answer is to do the standard drive on scale weight.  Then tell the speaker on the pole that you are going to do a re-weigh.  Then drive around the parking lot, and drive on the scales with half the coach off the scale plates.  Go in and pay the fee, and get the two sheets with different weights.  Subtract one from the other and you have the corners, plus or minus some small tilt error.

We did this, but had to have Dolly get out and go to the pole to push the button, and had to add her weight to the final number.

We did as Dave and Dolly suggested while we were in Oregon. Weigh stations leave their scales on even if they are closed.  So we drove through one and did front and rear axles.  And the next one we drove through we just did the passenger's side.  Then did the math.  These scales weigh in 50 lb increments.  When we got all four corners weighed at the Grand Vention the results there were close to our Oregon experience.  When we were at the GV we had filled the fuel tank within 30 miles, had full water tanks and had just dumped the waste tanks.  While we rarely travel with full water tanks and we are only at full fuel occasionally the weights at the GV showed we were near the load capacity of our Load Range G tires and had some room in the rears.  Time for new LRH tires.

I'm going to get this strategy a test within a week or so.  We're waiting for our historically wet weather to calm down a bit.  Thank you for the suggestion.
