Black & Gray Tank bases

My tanks sit on a gray base. Just wondering if those bases are hollow underneath? Thinking it may be good to put floor heating mats in the space. If it's hollow.

The bases are hollow, at least in our 99'. You can tell for sure if there is pex routed through under the base.

Don't you have bay heaters in a 2003?

Bay heaters ? I have ducts from the furnace, which for my "normal" use is fine. I haven't winterized a coach since 1978, and hope I don't need to on this one. But my 94 yr old father-in-law is headed down hill, so I may need to go to NW Iowa this winter. Just considering possibilities. Farm country isn't going to have many/any hookups available during the winter.

15 amp circuit will keep you going fine if your batteries are charged when you plug in (if vacant and all you are running is furnaces. May run out of propane though, slight edge to Aquahot for duration of stay before refill required in cold climates

A small thermostatically controlled electric heater in each end of the wet bay would probably work just as well, and a lot simpler.  Using that system keeps our wet bay around 50 degrees all winter.  Not extremely cold here, but dips into the teens do happen.  I also use another small heater inside the coach to keep the "living room" around 50 degrees, but let the rear propane heater take care of the bedroom, so it also adds some additional heat to the wet bay.  A small aux battery charger will keep your batteries up.  This could all run off some standard extension cords from the house.
