Lost Living Room Light Switch

My Foretravel has three cherry-trimmed ceiling lights running down the center from behind the front seats to the Microwave.

The one by the microwave is controlled by the leftmost switch of the toggle pair above the sink. The one by the end of the sink counter is controlled by the leftmost switch of the toggle pair, just forward of that under the driver side cabinets.

The one behind the front seats is controlled by the . . .  nothing; I cannot find a switch that makes it go on or off. Maybe it is not working, which complicates my search.  :(

Does anyone know where that light is controlled?

Thanks,

Trent

Check the front of the upper cabinets above the passenger seat.

Ditto, on my 2000 320 it's at the end of the overhead cabinets facing the windshield.

As we happen to have a mid-door 98, our most forward ceiling light is controlled by an entry door switch as well. Our's is mounted on the aft end of the passenger side overhead cabinet, an easy touch as we come up the stairs.  Not really logical all these years till reading the above posts.  If we had a front door coach, it would have made sense to have a light on at the front of the coach ceiling.

I do have a couple of switches there, but thought both were for the Girard awning. Was afraid to 'xperiment, but since that seems to be the consensus, will check there tomorrow.

Trent, those others (set of 3, and not sure I know what the 3rd one is for or maybe I do but have forgotten) on the right side of the entry door are porch light & mood lighting (night lights) under the cabinets @ floor level...another one on the left entry is the step well cover, be careful with that one, it could surprise ya when closing....my overhead forward lights are also controlled by the switch you're referring to & was also a big mystery for awhile.

You could also dig out your coach wiring diagram and locate the switches then follow the circuit to where it goes. Look at it like a treasure map,but different.  :))

Perhaps the non function light has a burned out bulb and is controlled by one of the already found switches.
