What The Heck Is It?

I can hear a fan running in the small compartment just forward of the rear curbside tire.  The compartment has a water pump and
a bit of storage as well as the manabloc and one other thing......................a brass gauge registering 0 - 50 F and a knob with a pointer
that can be set to any temperature within that range.  It's mounted on the panel next to the manabloc and it it's set on 50F.  When I
turn it down to 0 the fan motor shuts off along the way.

Does anyone recognize what I have described?

Still trying to get to Florida.

Howdy T-Man,
That's the thermostat for your bay heaters.  On my coach there is two heaters, one in the bay you described and one in the service bay.  The heater coils are "buried" back behind the front panels.

edit: I notice you have a U295, do you have a AquaHot system?

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the info.

Yes, it does have the Aqua Hot, but it's not turned on with either diesel or electric.  That's why I didn't understand
why the fan was running.

You have a thermostatic controlled exhaust fan in your main bay you may be hearing.

T-Man,

That is how our unit works also, all that thermostat sees is the temp in the compartment. It don't know whether the A/H is on, off or even in the coach.  FYI it is fed off the 12VDC system so make sure that it is turned all the way counter clock wise (off) especially when you are not plugged up or you could end up with a dead coach battery system if the thermostat turns on the fans due to cold.
