Replaced start batteries
The Optimas that came in the coach that we bought but they finally gave up (load tested out). No complaints about the batteries.
But we replaced them with three Deka (East Penn) Intimidators 9A31 batteries. These are stated to be used for starting and rated as 925 CCA, 100Ah, 20HR. In other threads folks talked about using one 8D and other size Dekas. This is what was recommended for our ISM engine. Started just fine but that is the only experience we have after getting these last week so I cannot recommend them, probably takes a year or so to be sure they hold up?
