exterior lights

Hey all.  Hope winter has been good.

Time to start thinking about rolling again and I am doing an initial inspection.  I have no flashers, no turn signals, and only the two left brake lights.  No dash indicators for the flashers and turn signals either. 

Running lights, head lights, clearance all seem fine. 

Anything stand out before I go pretending I know how to read this wiring diagram?

With so much affected, one might start looking to see if a common "ground" is disconnected, possibly in the steering column/smart wheel or at the rear of the coach.

Try replacing the flasher, especially if brake lights work and turn signal/flasher indicators don't.

I would look at the turn signal switch. usually the brake lights are effected but they are a weak link. we sell a bunch of used turn signal switches.

Brake lights now good.  Any idea where the flasher module is?  Since hazard lights and turn signals both bad, that makes me think it is the problem

Joe, in our U320, the flashers are behind a vertical panel in front of the passengers chair.  It is just above the stairway coming into the coach on the right.  Ours has some switches and heat vents in the panel.  The panel is held on with velcro.  If you start at the bottom and get it loose and the work up the sides and then slide it down a bit to get it out from under the upper part of the dash.

The wiring and heat duct hoses make it hard to get all the way out of the way without disconnecting things but you probably don't need to to get to the flashers.  Lots of wiring behind there in mine, be careful to not inadvertantly short any thing out.

My flashers are near the floor, sort of near the middle. 

Now your Nimbus might be quite different, I don't know.  But this is a good place to start the hunt.

Thanks very much.  Mine were not mounted on the board but laying loose on the floor.  Soon to be checked!
