12 Volt house lighting

Does anyone know where the drivers side under cabinet puck lights are fed from? Removing the front tv cabinets and front cabinets to install larger front tv, no lights under the cabinets or the over head light front of kitchen. Shouldn't have anything to do with front of the coach

Bruce, check the 12v fuses on the front of the bed box (that's where they are on my coach).  Not hard to blow one of these.  The labels there may give you a clue as to which lights are on which circuit.  Drivers side under cabinet lights might be fed from somewhere over the kitchen.  A guess based a bit on my own coach (with slide).  These have a groubd circuit too and if thatbis open then even with power the lights won't work.

Thanks Roger, forgot about the 12V on the foot of the bed. Fuse #10 also powers the air tv booster. I likely shorted the wires moving it. Got a few wires to deal with.

I see that you have the black paint over spray onto the fabric.  I took my TV cabinet out, and reduced the height about 3", and revealed the same sort of overspray.  We had hoped to also cut a couple of inches off the back, but the ceiling had even more overspray.

Hi Bruce,

This is what our 39" Vizio looks like.  I took two pieces of 1/2" baltic birch plywood and glued them together to get a 1" (24mm) thick panel that has 4 T-nuts on the back side and bolts to the two vertical aluminum square tubes.  This gave me a rock solid place to attach the TV mount.  This mount allows the TV to move towards the back of the coach, left and right several inches and turn left and right.  This is a very solid mount, it weighed twice what the TV weighs.  It moves easily but stays where you put it.  No need for any latches to lock the TV for travel.

I used a thin plywood panel covered with vinyl (never found anything that came close to the actual ceiling so I used some that matched the vertical valence, as best I could anyway) to attach to the ceiling to cover up the holes and where the original cabinet mounted.

You might be able to remove the overspray with a bit of toluene on a rag.  Try it in an area that won't be seen to make sure it doesn't interact badly with the vinyl.  It may take several very light scrubs to clean it off.

We were able to acquire some matching material from the FOT upholstery shop to cover the holes from our TV cabinet alteration.

Jan 2015 when I was in NAC I checked for both the tan and the white ceiling vinyl.  They had neither.
