Battery Installation

My question is this . Why does a 40' U320 have 4 engine battery's , A 42' U320 has 3 engine battery's and so does the U270 & 295

Rob, maybe the output of the 4 is equal to output of 3?? I know of some who have 1 8D for starting. I think owners over time have made their own assumptions as to what is needed and/or it is tied to the cost of them, so that is why there are variations. I have 2-AGM 850 CC starting batteries in the 295. Seems to be ok.

Yes I understand that part , My respond to the battery;s was factory install as per elect schematic , you however are probably right
