Cable runs (TV)

Is there a cable run rear-front that contains the TV cable? Is it in the overhead or the basement? Pre-planning a HDMI cable install to go between the two entertainment centers. Attached is the actual layout for my coach (modified from Barry's layouts).

I'm planning a CAT-5, HDMI, and new coax run for future projects.

Do you know about HDMI Redmere?
We use Monoprice Redmere because of the very small diameter flexible HDMI cable, but it also does a better job with long runs.

CAT5 is obsolete, why not run CAT7 or CAT8?

Barry & Cindy,

  Great on the HDMI cable! Don't know much about CAT 7/8, but CAT 6/6E sounds better. Again, I'm in the planning stage, so this is good info.

Still want to follow the cable runs where I can.

There is a "D" shaped beam at the very top outside of the interior of your coach.  In the cabinets, there are small plastic "breather" plug in it.  It is open from front to back of coach.

In the 280 it starts under the false floor (pull up the carpet and the plywood lifts up) in the rear most hanging closest in the bathroom. From that control box the cable runs thru the floor and I believe along the wall underneath the couch.

Probably there are not good cable runs the whole way.  Without slides, running cables is easier.  Ours run under couch down hole drilled in floor, across coach bay ceiling, back up into closet floor drilled hole, etc.  Use logical direct routes.
With DirecTV SWM technology, our bedroom client receiver used the original coax for HD on bedroom TV, so no new cable run was necessary.  And now Directv has a wireless client that gets HD to another location without any cable.
