Air System Schematic Symbols

I'm tracking leaks on my air system and am trying to understand the schematic symbols. 

On some of the lines, there is a rectangle with an arrow inside.  Is this the symbol for a check valve?  Is the symbol for a junction in the line a circle or half circle around the junction?

The rectangle with the arrow is a check valve. 
Just above the HWH compressor is a four way of different size tubes.
From the front brake tank there is a safety valve then a three way connection of similar sizes then a check valve and then a four way of same size tubes.

Looks like a T with a check valve coming into the tank on the left. And a two way check valve T (one way out) on the top of the tank.

No symbol reference so these are what I have been using.  My best guess.

I am trying to understand my air schematic and hope someone can help me with the symbols and notations used.

I assume that the arrow in a rectangle represents a one-way check valve. What is the meaning of a number in a box on an air line? In the air suspension sub-system I assume that a circle with an adjacent number in a box is an air bag.

Am I correct in these assumptions?

1 Yes
2 That is your air line # designation all your air lines should have a sticker on each end that should match the ones on your prints.
3 Our air bags are a letter "S" in a circle on our prints but that is for a '97. With yours being a '01 they may have changed the labels. The air line that feeds the air bag is labeled with a number in a box like the rest of the air lines.
