Replacing sleeper

To those of you who have done it what is the procedure for replacing the large sofa,thru the window or door?Remember the 96
has the narrower door than the newer coaches.

If you are talking about the jackknife sofa, it comes apart pretty easily.  Open it half way and you will see the bolts holding the back to the bottom.  Remove them and then separate from the base. Goes out in three pieces.

Make sure you have checked under the sofa to see what else is hidden there.  On many coaches the front propane heater is under the sofa.  This makes finding, and installing, a suitable replacement more challenging.

The 'level' gauge for my coach is mounted to the floor under the couch.

Lotsa stuff under ours: water pump and accumulator tank + the furnace.
