Gen set issue

We have a 95 u300 with a 10k generator. We were using it while driving for the ac then it stopped producing ac. Engine runs fine but makes a little over 1v ac at the breaker. Any way to test the voltage regulator?

Yes you can by putting a voltmeter on the contacts leading to the box. Do yo have the remote fan. If so is it running. If not then you are not making electricity.
