pets on motorcades

We are going on the 2017 Alaska motorcade and would like to take our dogs.  Has anyone gone on this motorcade with dogs and are there any issues with the side trips and being away from the motorhome for extended periods.  Are there provisions for dog walkers within the group or at the various RV stops. We would like to take our pets as they travel with us always but don't want to miss out on the Alaska trip due to worry about the dogs.

While I do not travel with any pets, we have friends that do. We made the last Alaska motorcade and there were 3-4 coaches that had pets. One of our friends traveled with a German Shepard. No issues really. There were some day trips that lasted most of the day up to about 12-14 hours. Some campgrounds had info or people that would take the pets out a couple times during the day. Vets were as frequent as most other necessities for the trip.

They had their vet papers for the dog with shots etc to get across the border. No big issues and all had a great time. We are on the list for Alaska 2017.

We have signed up for the 2017 Alaska Motorcade and plan on having our dogs with us.
Our dogs are used to traveling. We try and avoid "too" long, but hasn't stopped our travels.
If there will be others along, perhaps we could share some dog duties as needed.

We have done several motorcades with our two Yorkies (Alaska, Maritimes, Lewis and Clark, etc.).  We avoid the all day bus trips.  In general, all day anything is too long to leave the dogs and too long for us so it works out fine.  We dog sat a couple of times for others (like for people that went to Juneau on the Alaska motorcade).

The great thing about the Foretravel motorcades (unless things have changed since last we went on one) is that the various options are OPTIONAL.  There is a base price and then you get to select the other activities you want to participate in.  The description of each option gives you enough information to make a decision.
