Solar install U280

I've got all the fixins for the install, and looking at a little guidance (or concurrence) on the plan. I have 2 X 280W panels, running cable down refrig vent to the below cabinet cable runs to get to the back. I have a Morningstar TS-60 Charge Controller, and was wondering if anyone installed in a U280. My plan is to put it in the base of the bed where the switching relay and inverter relay is located. It's close to the batteries and weatherproof. I'm worried it may not get enough air in there. Other locations are susceptible to climate or too far from the batteries to be really effective.

Base of the bed is where our (2) solar controllers were installed.  No problems so far, after a summer of West TX heat.

Chuck, is the switch at the outside of the bed for the solar panels or something else?

That switch selects between (AC) shore power and generator power.  It replaced one of our original ATS boxes.
