Re: Attaching Sewer Pipe to Waste Tank

Excellent timing! Before our trip, I had replaced the Valterra valves for both tanks and added a third, before putting in a new panel for the faucet and the various connections (looked real pretty). While on our trip, I smelled urine when I opened that cabinet and the one opposite. We returned home two days ago and I removed the panel in order to find the leak. I was glad to see that it wasn't from my work but from that connection to the tank (what else can go wrong with this rig?). I'm guessing that the way to do this is loosen the clamp, push in as much of the gutter caulk and re-tighten. This time I will test it with blue shop (paper) towels before putting everything back together. Thanks for your post.
