NDR1492 Refrigerator light

The refrigerator light did not work when I bought the coach.  I decided to check it out today and found something interesting. The red wire went to one end of the light bulb and the grey wire, Low Ambient Circuit, went to the other end of the light.  The black ground went to one side of the door switch, but there was nothing connected to the other side. There needs to be a jumper between the door switch and where the grey wire is attached, but there is no place to attach a wire.  I am thinking I need to put a .187 double male single female connector on the light contact so I would be able to connect both the grey wire and a wire to the switch.

Does anyone have a NDR 1492 that they could take a picture of the refrigerator light to see what I have missing?

What you describe as the connections for the red, grey and black wires are exactly what I have on my NDR1492.  I don't know anything about the grey being part of the Low Ambient Circuit, but looking closely I see that the metal clip that the grey wire attaches to continues into the switch housing.  I would think that it goes through the switch and then goes to one end of the light.  I don't understand why there are 3 wires coming out of the wall.

I have nothing going from where the grey wire connects to the switch.  A picture would be great whenever you are in the coach but don't make a special trip.

Here's a picture of the light and wiring.  The switch is connected to the black wire at the top and one end of the bulb holder at the bottom.  The light comes on if the grey wire is removed so the setup is pretty simple - really just two wires, red and black, as you would expect with the grey wire used to sense if the door is open.

Are you getting voltage across the red and black wires?  If so, maybe there is an open behind the plastic mounting.

Ignore the extra black and red wires going to the left of the picture.  I added them as a constant 12v source to power micro fans mounted on the cooling fins.

Thanks for picture.  Solves my problem.  Appears bottom contact of light switch just touches the light contact for the grey wire. My switch contact doesn't quite reach the light contact.
