allison oil temp sending unit

Where should I be looking for the sending unit on a 4000r transmission?
dash gauge is stuck on 185 deg so after replacing air pressure sending units, this one is next.

The one I replaced is on the drivers side of the transmission about 6 to 8 inches from the bottom of the transmission through the very back access door. Don't remember the part number but got the sending unit through Allison.

Our dash transmission temp gauge sender is in a 1/8" NPT fitting on one of the two large diameter tranny fluid hose elbows.  (These elbows flow fluids to the tranny cooler mounted next to the engine).
