Utility Bay Faucet - shut-off valve?

Anybody know if there are shut-off valves for the hot & cold lines to the utility bay faucet hidden somewhere on a '97 U295?  Faucet is the Moen 8100, 8" wide double handle with extended spout.  I have a slow leak on the hot side that I need to stop until I can repair it.  I've turned off every valve on the manifold but none shut down this faucet.  If I can't get it fixed or replaced before the next trip in a few weeks I plan to replace the washer between the faucet and the wall fitting on the hot side with a solid disc to temporarily block it off.  I'd rather know that it can be controlled with a valve in the event that something like this happens in the future.  It seems odd that everything but this faucet goes through the manifold.

I don't know about a 97 but my 99 has a shut off at the water valve bank on the pass side rear bay.

Yes, I have that valve bank as well but none of the valves shut off the utility bay faucet.  Washing machine, toilet, kitchen, etc but not the outside faucet for some reason.

It may be tied into the toilet 🚽 I think mine was. Not much use for a permanent fix

I was going to suggest that maybe if you turn one off at a time it will show which one is the fix. Even if it is tied into another line like Bruce mentions at least you will know which it is.

When mine1999 was leaking I was able to just replace the cartridges. Member Steve Hill found the correct part Wolverine brass # 53571 it will work for hot and cold. I called Wolverine they sent me 2 new ones.

I approached it the opposite way...turned them all off, planning to turn each one on until the bay faucet flowed.  The problem is that it never turned off.  All valves off, bay still flows.

This is great info.  The Moen replacement is almost $50 each so I was planning to replace the entire faucet.  The faucet has already been repaired once due to a cracked body from freezing so I thought I'd upgrade to the Moen 8121.  The problem is that is plumbed differently so it's not a direct replacement.  I found the cartridge that you mentioned on ebay at $12 for a set of 2!  For that price I'll give it a shot.

If your pump is off and the water level in your tank is below the valve, can't you just open that hot water valve to drain water from the line then replace the cartridge?

I can't help you with the shut-off, but here's what I replaced my Moen faucet with.  It's a decent piece at a reasonable price.

If the new cartridges don't fix the problem then plan B is to replace the faucet.  The new Moen version has reversed the connections so that it won't mount with the older style fittings that I have.  It looks like your Regency is a direct replacement...male threads on the faucet, female threads in the nut at the wall side.  Can you confirm, was yours the same as mine and the Regency bolted up to your existing hardware?

Old style 8100 faucet showing male threads on the faucet side.  New Moen 8121 is reversed...male at the wall, female on the faucet side.  The fittings can be removed and replaced but trying to avoid that if possible.  The Regency might be an answer.

Yes, but replacing the cartridge isn't the problem.  All I have to do is shut off the water pump and bleed off the pressure tank.  The problem is that I want to keep it ready to travel but I don't have the repair parts in hand yet.  I wanted to simply shut off the supply lines until I am able to repair it.  Now that replacement cartridges are ordered it should be fixed soon enough.  I was just trying to make sure that I hadn't missed a valve somewhere.

Yes it is a direct replacement,  with no additional parts required.

I know it does not make sense, but the bay faucet does not have a manifold shutoff on our coach.  Also the water to our hot water tank and from the hot water tank did not have a manifold shutoff.
As for Moen faucet problems, Moen will supply free replacement parts forever for original faucet owners.  No proof of ownership has been requested.

Our problem with that utility faucet was never the spigots leaking, but the stupid extended faucet getting bent when we closed the bay door and forgot to swing it to the side. Don't ask ... yes, it DID happen more than once, and we are boneheads. Finally, I got the bright idea of just hacksawing it off and sliding a piece of clear vinyl tubing over the cut end.  Instant flexible spigot! Didn't even need a hose clamp!!  I know ... I know ... genius, right??  It has actually been very helpful in several ways.

You're welcome.

Maybe the U295s are different, but when I had a '97 U320 I thought it had shut off valves on the Maniblock for the hot and cold faucet in the wet bay. Maybe Bob (calflashbob) can look for us.
