Is it in the Aqua Hot bay??
If so it is the coolant reservoir for the Aqua Hot.

Looks like a radiator overflow reservoir. Follow the hose and see where it leads. If I'm right, it leads to just below the cap of the radiator for something.

I do have AQ. Though it doesn't seem to be working on 115AC, testing it now on diesel. What fluid does AQ use?

The overflow tank for the Aqua Hot.  The tank level goes up as the Aqua Hot Heater coolant tank heats and down as the tank cools.

The radiator cap on the top of the heater tank needs to be removed and checked for a seal with no cracks.  If in doubt, replace with a new 13 pound cap from auto parts store.

Check the overflow line at the hose barb at the radiator filler neck.  The tube should be soft and supple with no cracks.  The tube should be secured with a hose clamp.  If not so, cut off brittle end of hose and install clamp.

While the cap is off, fill heater tank lipping full of 50/50 antifreeze, in your case, the same you use for the engines (not so for newer heaters with an electronic control board).

When the heater Wabesto diesel burner is turned on and cycles off at it comes up to temp, fill the overflow tank to the hot line with the same antifreeze you put into the tank.

With the overflow tank so low, I can almost guarantee the heater tank is not lipping full.  Check it out.

Michael,
The electric element draws 12 to 14 amps that can be measured with a clamp-on amp meter or an EMS amp meter display inside the coach (if equipped, yours may not have that meter).

The electric element is 5000 btu heat source.  It will require 2 to 3 hours to bring the tank up to temp.  Immediate heating when turning on the electric element with the tank at ambient will not happen.

The Wabesto diesel burner will require 15 to 20 minutes to bring the tank up to temp.  Again not immediate heat but soon.

The AQ is making beat but that heat is only coming from 2 vents; the sofa and one of the vents in the Head. The BR vents and the vent at the base of the little end table in the LR do not seem to be blowing at all. Even the 2 that do have some airflow are reall weak. Normal?

PS Havent had a chance to find the AQ radiator yet to check the fluid level

Don't run the diesel until you verify the tank has liquid. Very expensive if you burn up the heat exchanger

Did you get the manuals when you bought the coach? These will help

when everyone is not on line in an emergency.

Where is it? If it is in the front of the coach, it is the reservoir for the windshield washer. It looks like the one on my 91.

After other suggested steps, you might want to take the grills off and see if the fins are plugged up with dust etc.
Mine were working, but when I looked I was amazed how dirty they were.

Eric, be sure both Zone 1 and Zone 2 are set on furnace.  I bet you have done that, but in haste sometimes I overlook setting both to the right temp!  Otherwise, may some fuse to check?
