Very good service experiences in Nac this past week, both OTM and Beau Reece

Steve and I (and da boyz) spent this past week at Old Town Motorcoach getting a few things repaired on our coach.

We were very pleased with the work we had done.  Issac has excellent diagnostic skills and solved a couple of intermittent issues on our coach.  From control circuitry for the dash fan speed to replacing ABS sensors and wheel seals, plus a dash air problem it was one stop shopping.  Lance and Joey demonstrated a commitment to customer focus and reasonable shop rate that is refreshing to find in the RV repair business.

While working on our axles, Issac also noticed a potential seal concern on our transmission output shaft and at our request Joey contacted both a shop in Arlington and Beau Reece for repair.  We opted to have Beau replace the seal while we were in Nac, and he literally went the extra mile to get the Allison-branded part we needed, driving to Shreveport and back to pick it up when none were available nearby and the local truck parts dealer received the wrong part number.

It's great to have these resources for our coaches.

Nice to hear. Is this a new place, don't remember even hearing about them when we were there.

Old Town Motorcoach started up earlier this year, I believe New Website Up & Running  We used them in April for our routine maintenance/fluids & filters.  Issac Anderson is the service technician at OTM and has something like 16 years' experience working on coaches in the Nac area.

Beau Reece used to be at Bernd's (he did our valve/injector adjustments last June) and now has his own business.

Did Beau do the work at OTM?

Yes he did.  Both parties are class acts and willing to work together in the customer's best interest.

Beau also has his own shop at his house unless that has changed, but not convenient, about 20 miles from Nac.  Rudy used it for a week of so as I recall what Rudy said

I was at Beau's place in Cushing.  I dumped there before parking where I and another coach had 50 amp and water during our stay.  He as Wifi internet available.  Plus there is a true country cafe nearby with really good food.  Worked well for me.

The other coach had new Driver's side window, new air bags, oil change and numerous coach wiring mistakes from previous repairs corrected.  Now when he presses a button or turns on a switch, he gets the desired result.  He was very happy to get that done as even Prevost Houston could not sort the wiring out.

So you can get truck stuff and RV stuff at his place too.

Issac has worked all over my coach...excellent tech, & can do just about anything from large to small projects...when in NAC in the future, taking my coach to OTM....for winter, Paul Yasbeck (in FL) is my go-to guy....

Updating this older thread to report that the quality service at Old Town Motorcoach continues.  These guys in the front office (Lance and Joey) understand and practice great customer service.  We had a punch list that was completely cared for in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price.
And then there is Issac - he just truly wants to do the job right.  As others have said he has great diagnostic skills, fixing one issue that other shops had failed to resolve successfully.  Issac also advised us of a couple of other things that needed attention and we happily agreed to those repairs as well.  And now he has a capable, energetic assistant in Brandon who can reach some spots that may be a bit of a challenge for Issac.  ;D  This is now my go to service spot in Nac.  ^.^d

BTW Miz Dani, the guys say hi and stop in next time you are in town.
