Question about engine (split from Re: 1993 U300 40')

After three years of owning this coach we've come to the realization that we didn't buy our last coach first. Our needs have changed since we did our research, and a motor home isn't the best choice for us. Therefore, we're putting our coach up for sale.

The Detroit 6V92TA has 163,312 miles on it. The generator has 3262 hours. Engine, transmission, and generator were all serviced at Foretravel in March 2016.

Nice rig, I was curious as to what a service @ Fortravel costs for the engine, trans, generator that you had done?
I am looking to purchase a good preowned FT coach but have only been interested in a Cummins engine. I do not know much about the Detroit 6v92?
We are in east tx and was wondering where you might be as of now?
Thank you
JK

JK,
We have ardent Foreforum supporters of all engines Foretravel use/used in their coach.  There are many owners of the Detroit engines fitted to the U300 that will be glad to share their experiences if you post a general question about pros and cons of the engine.
