10 KW Powertech generator

My generator  starts easily and runs great for about 20-25 minutes then shuts down .
I have replaced the radiator cap and new oil , filters it only has 267 hrs .
I think the Dayton blower fan  in front of the remote radiator has a fuse or relay problem ?  It will not activate,  Anyone had this problem ?  I am thinking about getting a hvac tech to ohm out the capacitor and relay on the fan.
It looks like there are two radiators ? one by the gen and another with the blower fan in front.

. Ps .Its a 4 cyl Kubota PTSMH-10 it does not have code readouts. and it does not have a board
I cannot slide my gen. out without disconnecting the exhaust pipe.
So its been a little inconvenient.

I had probably the same problem several years ago.  The 110 volt fan on the remote radiator would not run.  It would run until it shut itself down due to over temp.

There is a circuit breaker/switch for the fan on the control box.  Over time it had become "weak".  I replaced the switch (circuit breaker) and it has worked fine ever since.  Easy and cheap fix once I figured out what the problem was.

Once you sort out the problem, be sure to check your coolant level.  I lost some coolant each time it overheated.  As you refill coolant, it takes a bit of effort to purge all the air out of the system.

Good luck,

I had a similar problem about three weeks ago.  I replaced the capacitor and it has worked fine since.

The capacitor cost less than $10, so cheaper to replace than pay a tech to check, although I did test mine myself.

Bill for what a tech would charge you, you can buy a nice meter that check volts, ohms and capacitors.  It will be a great tool to carry with you.

I had similar problem on my previous 1994 Bluebird coach that had a Kubota/Power Tech 10 KW.  Oil pressure sender/sensor (shut down sender)  was the problem.  If it says low pressure it shuts off fuel pump.  Check first for loose wires on the oil pressure sensor.

Power Technology SE had the switch (sender/sensor) at $34 in early 2016.  oil pressure | Power Technology Southeast

I no longer have the records for that coach.  I "think" this is the correct sender: 2 Pole Oil Pressure Shutdown Switch by Nason | Power Technology Southeast

Our PT 10kw Kubota had a loose connection to the breaker for the fan, on the backside, inside the control box. It ran until it reached the overheat shutdown, making power of course until it died each time.
