New optional entry door for IH45 Foretravel

This entry door was on one of the 2017 IH45s at FOT.  All power door. No manual use.  No screen door either.  Apparently first offered in 2016.  When it closes, it "sucks inward" for a tight seal. 

This was a very different floor plan and color scheme as well.

Newell has/had them at least on the one my guru buddy had. 

One problem.  In an electrical failure the door unlocks and opens.  For safety

Absolutely great if one has pets that love the "great outdoors". No screen door!! Zoom, they are gone!

FOT had a Newell there that they were all over for for a while.  Saw it there on 2 different Mod visits.  I see one of my dogs bolting out the door and DW saying, "So you had to have the fancy door."  Maybe it is a good idea for my own quick get away.

So we're at a campground, plugged in. Door is shut and we've gone to bed. Storm comes up, lots of wind and rain. Power goes off, and door comes open, right? Rain and leaves come in. Morning comes, cat's gone and mess inside. Momma's not happy.

Door is air operated with 12 volt control circuit, shore power or 110v not required.

If you had an electrical failure it would be dangerous to not have the door unlock.  No screen as was mentioned.

Why would it be dangerous if you lost 110 volt power?

And look at the spec sheet...already planning on lowering the price!! Guess they are finding the market a little thin up there in that price range already. :))
