Air line from 12v slide compressor to wet tank?

Just wondering if anyone has put  shut off on this line for when in storage?

The "pop off" valve on our wet tank broke  while in storage and caused the 12v compressor to seize. Cost nearly a coach buck to replace.

I remove the fuse that hangs below the compressor...so that it won''t run while in storage.

I added a dash switch to enable/disable power to the pump.  There was some mention for the post 2001 coaches regarding power to the pressure switch as well as the pump.  The 2001 is different.

I put in a fuse protected inline switch.

Thought about something like this but here's my concern.  What happens if you have a slow leak in the bladder manifold?  If the compressor is off, the bladder may lose pressure and you may end up with water intrusion that is more expensive than a new compressor.  May want to put a manual valve in the line between the manifold and the bladder.

Any thoughts?

Isn't there a check valve already in that line (so it is one way from the wet tank to the aux compressor line)? I would think it would have to protect against the very thing you are talking about. Just like there is a check valve from the wet tank to the front and rear brake tanks... come to think of it, isn't the aux compressor loop feed by one of the tanks up front after those tanks like the step cover  and step, probably with a check valve? We have no slide, but the wet tank on ours feeds everything else via the front tanks (well, the tanks that are up front but are called the front and rear tanks because they are what supply the braking system. On oust the front tank also supplied the step and step cover). Only the service air next to the propane tank is feed directly by the wet tank on our 99'.
Anyway, it is not uncommon for check valves to fail so if there is one there, it would be my prime suspect.

My diagram show a line to the wet tank with a check valve but shows that the check valve is feeding the wet tank, possible to keep the air up & coach leveled? will have to study some more when I get back home (forgot the main manual at home)
and the fuse does not shut off the compressor, must disconnect wire from fuse block.... wired weird I know.
