Knoedler Install

OTM is installing a Knoedler Air Chief  (that arrived today) in my coach. It did not come with instructions and I was wondering if an air regulator was needed.  I know some of you have had these installed so asking if your seat has an air regulator and if a particular pressure is recommended?  I was not successful in reaching Knoedler this afternoon to ask.  So if anyone knows, your reply is appreciated.

I don't see why Knoedler  would be any different than Bostrom I need no regulator to the seat and my pressure can go to 130psi. on my governor.

I have the same seat and yes it does have a air gauge and screw type regulator.  The reason is based on your weight you adjust the pressure settings so your seat suspension will work for you.  The heavier you are you generally need more air.  When I first got it I set it to 35lbs and I bounced up and down like a carnival ride.  Now its set to 65Lbs and works great Have had it ten years.  Foretravel installed it with coach build at my request.

I thought he was asking if he needed separate regulator before the seat. I have the lever to adjust pressure but it is part of the seat assembly.
